Ladies Rides.

Ladies Sunday Rides Now Available! Venture out to local trails for fun, friendship, and fitness.

AM Ride: 9:00 – 12:00pm

PM Ride: 2:00 – 5:00pm

We are a nut-free camp.

Along with sports and arts ‘n’ crafts, kids will have an opportunity to pull out a book to do a little reading or jump on one of our computers to enjoy educational applications specifically geared for each grade level.

Grades K to 2

Reading Eggs. Super popular and all K-2 kids have an account. Learning to read is an important skill for all children, and we wanted to make it an enjoyable experience as well. Children love working and playing on the computer and the Reading Egg program is all about bringing out the best in each child.

Front Row Math. An introduction math course that adjusts and adapts to students and their progress.

Kodable & Scratch Jr. Dabble in coding for Grades K to 2! Super fun application that keeps kids engaged and makes coding FUN!

Grades 3 to 5

Typing Club.  With the increase of typing with the Google Apps Domain and in testing, typing is becoming more important. This is an online program that all kids will have access to. All students will have assigned accounts.

Front Row Math.  An introduction math course for Grades 3 to 5 that adjusts and adapts to students and their progress.

Google Apps. Students will have access to all of their school work that is done at Neil Cummins or The Cove through an assigned Google account. Once students log on to their accounts, their access will be filtered by the school and county office of education to ensure students are safe on the Internet.

Cooking

Learn the basics of mixin’ up ingredients and following recipes in a fun and creative environment! This class is designed to build confidence and teamwork while making many wonderful treats kids enjoy to eat!

Skateboarding/Scootering

This class is designed to create a safe and friendly environment for children of all skill levels interested in learning the fundamentals of skateboarding/scootering, develop self-confidence, explore tips and tricks, and learn park etiquette.

Basketball (Co-ed)

Our basketball program provides a safe and encouraging environment for our players to jump, run, stop, reach and strut their stuff. Our carefully considered curriculum introduces the fundamentals of basketball.  Different levels are available, with each class tailored to skill level.

Girls Basketball

Our girls basketball program focuses on sharpening skills, learning and improving individual defense, dribbling, passing, shooting, footwork and much more!  Last 20 minutes left for scrimmaging.

Mountain Biking

Join the Mountain Bike Club for selected terrain that ensures fun for all skill levels.  Along with learning and improving biking skills and disciplines, riders of all abilities will learn safety, bike maintenance, and trail etiquette.

Intro to Biking

This class is designed for kids ages 5 to 12 years old who are interested in learning how to bike or improve on their biking skills. Using our skills course and flat, traffic-free areas, we work with young riders on developing balance, coordination and confidence needed to ride independently. Must have training wheels removed before class.

Adventure Biking

Adventure Biking is designed for Grades 1-5 interested in riding off-site on various terrain, including local neighborhood trails.

Flag Football

Our Flag Football Program offers an introduction to flag football.  Learn the basics of blocking, passing, and running with the ball as well as basic defensive skills.

Kids Yoga

This class is an introduction to traditional yoga postures, meditation and breathing exercises, incorporated with lessons in creativity, positive thinking, personal awareness and (most of all) FUN!

Sewing

Learn how to sew! This class is designed to teach kids how to create fun sewing projects. Students will learn sewing techniques using simple patterns; how to measure, cut, and pin fabric; how to hand stitch and embroidery stitch.

Carpentry for Kids

Carpentry for Kids is an educational-enrichment program designed to teach kids woodworking skills with an emphasis on the safe use of hand tools.  These skills include measuring, fractions, sawing, drilling, rasping, assembly, and much more, to create fun, functional, and beautiful projects!
